Summer Salsa Extravaganza 2010!
The Summer Salsa Extravaganza is a 4-day dance convention that showcases some of the best Salsa dancers and instructors from the U.S. and abroad. Saturday night also features live music with Angel Lebron Y Su Sabor Latino.
The event offers over 40 workshops of various Latin dance genres including Salsa, Cha-cha, Bachata, Tango and Rueda de Casino. Novice dancers can take advantage of the Beginner Boot Camps while intermediate to advance dancers might want to take a class targeted to improving technique, musicality, rhythm or even dips and tricks. There is something for dancers of every level.
You will also have an opportunity to enjoy watching professionals
do their "thing". The Salsa Extravaganza offers shows during
the evening with plenty of breaks for open dancing. By the
way, if you're a dancer, you'll love the fact that dancing
goes on 'til 4 in the morning.
If you really want to see great dancing, then you'll want
to stick around for the competitions. There are competition
categories for novices as well as Champions at the Salsa
Extravaganza. Each competition comes with money prizes so
you're sure to see a good show.
If you love parties then you'll be glad to know that the
Salsa Extravaganza is also known for its pool parties
and margaritas. Dancers gather around the pool to dance and
enjoy the sun and a few adult drinks while networking and
getting to know each other.
